Freight Car Gallery
The Freight Car Gallery is a place for railfans to display photos of freight cars: new cars, old cars with reporting marks of railroads long gone, curiosities rarely seen -- anything that might interest the railfan or modeler.
In particular we are looking for photos of quickly-restenciled freight cars. They're a modeler's delight, but photos of prototype examples are hard to come by. Any good photo of one of these cars stands a good chance of getting on the site. Even a few good CNW/exRI examples would be appreciated as these cars always have a one-of-a-kind flavor and car number changes are as interesting as the change of reporting marks. But, who got the cars of the old Seattle & North Coast, the Arcata & Mad River, and the Cadiz Railroad when the rolling stock of these lines was sold off? Post the evidence at raildepot.com.
